Following this, he undertook a one-year rotation internship, gaining practical experience across various medical disciplines. He further honed his skills by training in general medicine for an additional year as a house physician.

Dr. Raju K. Mitra has extensive experience in the medical field, beginning his career at the Critical Care Unit of Nightingale Hospital in Kolkata, where he worked until August 2010. Following this, he served as a Medical Officer at Sukna Block Primary Health Center. From March 2015 to September 2017, Dr. Mitra held the position of Senior Medical Officer at Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, contributing to the SNCU unit under the Pediatric Department. His diverse background showcases his dedication to providing quality healthcare services.

Dr. Mitra was a dedicated resident surgeon at Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital, where he has undergone extensive training in general surgery until September 2020. After this, he worked in the Pediatric Surgery Department at NRS Medical College and Hospital, addressing surgical issues in the pediatric age group, including newborn, until January 2022. Currently, he serves as faculty member in the General Surgery department at the College of Medicine & JNM Hospital in Kalyani, Nadia, where he continues commitment to surgical excellence, teaching, and patient care.
